Valentine’s, Shmalentine’s lol
Valentine’s day. That one day of the year you see roses and hearts everywhere. That one day when you see people dating and just lovey dovey. That one day when you’re single and everyone seems to be rubbing it on your face lol. Yes, Valentine’s day.
In my sixteen years of existence, it’s only now that I had classes on Valentine’s day (or at least since the day I started to have a crush haha). It was kind of unusual for me, actually. Not that I’m bragging or being selfish but this is the first Valentine’s that I didn’t receive anything. It’s not that I WANT or I NEED to receive flowers, chocolates, bears, or letters. I just miss them. It’s not a necessity to me or something. To me, it’s more so like an indicator that someone actually remembered you on that day. AND most of my friends got something HAHAHAHAHHA
I don’t really care about having a date or not on Valentine’s, actually. Not that I’m bitter but it’s just not my thing. I personally prefer having dates on a normal day. Yes, surprise, that’s what I want!
Believe it or not, I was actually really happy yesterday. Me and my blockmates celebrated Kirei’s birthday in Moonleaf and Mc Donald’s. We were just laughing and enjoying each other’s company. Oh and we bought her a Barney helium balloon :p Then for dinner, we ate at Italianni’s Eastwood with my family. Even though it took us two hours to get there cause of the REALLY heavy traffic and ate at around 10, it was all fun :)
Cause of the love I felt from my blockmates and family, I didn’t even realize that I didn’t receive anything and I’m fine with it — REALLY fine with it. (no sarcasms) I love being single ♡
